2. Viscose Fiber: A Regenerated Natural Beauty

Viscose is a regenerated natural fiber crafted from cellulose, typically derived from wood pulp. It has a similar drape and smooth feel to silk, making it an excellent substitute for the luxury material. The molecular structure of viscose is comparable to that of cotton and linen, though with shorter molecular chains and fewer small crystals.​

Our viscose fabric comes in a 93% viscose (Lenzing™ Ecovero™) and 7% elastane blend. This blend not only gives the fabric a soft and smooth hand feel but also provides a good amount of stretch, ensuring a comfortable fit. Viscose is highly absorbent, making it great for sportswear and casual wear as it can easily absorb sweat and keep you feeling fresh. It’s extremely light, airy, and breathable, making it a perfect choice for summer clothing. Additionally, viscose has the ability to hold dye well, so the colors remain vibrant even after multiple uses. 3. Nylon Fabric: Strength and Durability Redefined

Nylon is a synthetic fiber that has made a name for itself in the textile industry. It is the first synthetic fiber ever produced and is widely used due to its outstanding performance. Nylon fabric from Islelite is known for its exceptional strength and wear resistance – it’s the best among all fabric fibers in these aspects. In fact, its abrasion resistance is 10 times that of cotton fibers and dry viscose fibers, and a whopping 140 times that of wet fibers.​

This fabric also has good elasticity and elastic recovery, although it can wrinkle and deform easily under a small external force. Nylon is lightweight, which makes it suitable for a variety of applications, especially in the production of mountaineering suits, winter clothes, and other garments where lightweight yet durable materials are required. It also has excellent resistance to moth and corrosion. However, it’s important to note that nylon doesn’t withstand heat or light very well, so when using it, care should be taken with ironing (keep the temperature below 140℃) and washing and maintenance in general. Despite these minor drawbacks, the strength, durability, and versatility of nylon make it a highly sought-after fabric for many clothing and accessory manufacturers.

4. The Cotton-Polyamide Blend: Comfort and Style Combined

Our 82% cotton and 18% polyamide blend fabric offers a wonderful combination of comfort and performance. Cotton provides its natural softness, breathability, and absorbency, while polyamide (a type of nylon) adds strength, durability, and a bit of a modern edge.​

The 28/32nm yarn count in this blend contributes to a high-quality texture. Polyamide is a tough material known for its high strength and elongation, and when combined with cotton, it creates a fabric that is both comfortable to wear and long-lasting. This blend is suitable for a wide range of clothing items, from everyday tops and bottoms to more specialized sportswear. It can withstand regular use and washing, maintaining its shape and color over time.
